Angels and Demons is the story of Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, who works to solve a murder and prevent a terrorist act against the Vatican. The Dan Brown novel was adapted into a screenplay by writer Akiva Goldsman, who lost momentum because of the Hollywood writers strike, causing production to be postponed.
