The Academy has recently released the list of Animated Features, three of which will be chosen to go on to the big show. 14 films have been submitted for consideration in the Animated Feature Film category for the 81st Academy Awards. This Year 2008 outrageous film “JUNO” had made a Big Surprise by Win at Oscar’s Academy Awards for Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen (Diablo Cody) and Won Best Screenplay - Original (Diablo Cody) at BAFTA and Won CFCA award for Best Actress (Ellen Page) and Won for Best Film at Rome Film Fest and also won many titles

The uncertainty surrounding the 80th Annual Academy Awards, because of the three-months-old Hollywood writers' strike, is generating even more buzz for the glitzy event than usual. Will it happen? Will it not? If the Vanity Fair Oscar party is not held which will be the most consequential, to-be-seen-at post-Oscar event?

Unfortunately not much has changed in the past year and this issue must once again be revisited. This time we will specifically be taking a look at the recent Academy Awards and the negative comments that have surfaced in the weeks following.
