The Da Vinci Code’s sequel Angels And Demons is schedule to be released on May 19th 2009. Tom Hanks comes back as Dr. Robert Langdon. He is joined by Ayelet Zurer as Victoria Vetra and Ewan McGregor as Carlo Ventresca.

The first official Angels and Demons teaser trailer has been released. Angels and Demons, starring Tom Hanks is the prequel to the controversial movie The Da’Vinci Code, both movies being based on books by Dan Brown. Tom Hanks reprises his role as Robert Langdon in the movie, slated for a May 2009 release.

I saw this intriguing review of the book, "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. It is actually a prequel to his famous bestseller, " Da Vinci Code." They are making a movie based on this book which will be released next May 2009.

Angels and Demons is the story of Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, who works to solve a murder and prevent a terrorist act against the Vatican. The Dan Brown novel was adapted into a screenplay by writer Akiva Goldsman, who lost momentum because of the Hollywood writers strike, causing production to be postponed.

It was recently announced that production on The Da Vinci Code sequel Angels and Demons had come to a halt due to the writer's strike. But today, the New York Post is reporting that starlet Naomi Watts (King Kong) has joined the cast! While they didn't speculate what part she'd play, it does seem logical that she'd want the leading female role...
