Illumination Entertainment topper Chris Meledandri has kicked off his Universal Pictures-based family film unit with "Despicable Me," a 3-D CG-animated film that has Steve Carell voicing the title character.

Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa: I didn't see the first one, but did it really warrant a sequel? It seems like Disney (through Pixar) is the only studio intent on releasing mature CG fare. And why escape "2 Africa"? I would assume just an attempt at a lame, sequel-inspired pun, but the main title ("Madagascar 2") makes the second "2" redundant.

So I came across this movie called 'The Man From Earth'. I found it through torrents and after Downloading, I watched it, and by the end I was left speechless. This movie is all talk, no big BOOMS, or action or CG. Just brilliant Dialogues. It's rated at 8.4/10 at IMDB. I ordered a DVD to support this brilliant film.
