I do find it entertaining that Catholic Groups champion the works of C.S. Lewis, most specifically "The Chronicles of Narnia," however they fail to list "The Screwtape Letters," which depicts Lucifer as the good guy, when they speak of Lewis.

The first trailer for the upcoming Chronicles of Narnia sequel Prince Caspian has hit the web, thanks to the folks at Yahoo. More CG creatures, more sword fights and that Lion that sounds like Liam Neeson is back for more. Keep up the good work Narnia team — this one looks pretty intense.

The movie, opening Dec. 7, is drawing criticism from religious groups that describe it as "heretical," and "diabolical." The controversy stems from His Dark Materials, the series of children's fantasy novels on which The Golden Compass is based. The author says he wrote it in part to counter the Christian themes woven into The Chronicles of Narnia.

An e-mail is making the rounds about the new movie, The Golden Compass, starring Tom Cruise's ex, Nicole Kidman, as well as many other prominent actors and actresses. It seems the movie is a not-so-subtle attack on Christianity, written by an atheist who "hated" the Chronicles of Narnia books by C.S. Lewis. Check it out & DON'T watch the movie!
