Last night I had a chance to see an early screening of "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" at Universal Studios. The version we saw was unfinished. A lot (like 85%) of the visual and special effects were not completed. It was an interesting way to watch a movie and when you see a film this way, you realize that any action movie MUST have a good story.

Will Ferrell takes on the Sleestaks in a comic big screen adaptation of the 1970s TV show Land of the Lost being filmed by Universal Studios. It was a wild, zany show, with wonderful dinosaurs, ape-men, psychedelic moments and of course, the evil Sleestak, insect/lizard like humanoids. Will Ferrell will have a field day!

BURBANK, CA—Universal Studios joined DreamWorks SKG, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Paramount, and Fox Monday, when CEO Ron Meyer announced that the company is shutting down operations and ceasing all film production, effective immediately.
