With the recent lawsuit regarding the adaptation of Alan Moore's Watchmen, the entire history of movies based on Moore's graphic novels including From Hell, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Constantine, and V For Vendetta is detailed. With Moore taking his name off movies, bad reviews, and lawsuits - it hasn't been pretty.

Call it a remake, or a fresh adaptation, it's something that would sorely need to be done. Get a good script, someone like V For Vendetta helmer James McTeigue to direct, and Hellboy star Ron Perlman as Judge Dredd, then we'd have a sure-fire winner.

What's a ninja movie without a little Rain. According to Variety, South Korean pop star Rain has been cast as the lead in the film Ninja Assassin. The film is another collaboration between The Wachowski Brothers, producer Joel Silver and their protoge James McTeague (V For Vendetta), who will likely direct.

The best way to describe what this movie is would be a combination of Dark City and V for Vendetta, but told through four intertwining stories set mostly in London and partially in Meanwhile City.
