The Weinstein Company has agreed to distribute a concert documentary following 62-year-old Cheech Marin & 70-year-old Tommy Chong’s “Light Up America” tour. Whether the company is distributing it to cinemas or TV has not yet been decided.

Variety has reported that there will be a live action "Fraggle Rock" movie to be released by The Weinstein Company. Cory Edwards of "Hoodwinked" fame will be directing and writing the screenplay, while the Jim Henson Co. will produce.

Whatever you say about the Jim Henson company, they are without doubt very popular. Oh what am I saying, there are masters. Over at the Muppet News Flash blog (of which I'll admit that I'm a subscriber, they inform us that the Weinstein Company has signed up to feature a live action version of the great TV series Fraggle Rock.
